When the rescuers from Animal Aid Unlimited, India arrived at the scene, they found a street dog hidden behind a vehicle, unable to move due to severe injuries. Despite the pain he was in, the dog wagged his tail in gratitude when one of the rescuers approached him.
The rescuers named the dog Oreo and brought him back to the shelter, where they discovered he had a pelvic injury that made it impossible for his back legs to support his weight. Initially, Oreo refused to eat, likely due to the discomfort and pain he was in, but he sought comfort and affection from his rescuers.
Thanks to the love and care he received, Oreo gradually began to improve and even enjoyed his physical therapy sessions. He played and interacted with his rescuers while receiving massages and exercises to help heal his injured pelvis.
After months of extensive care and patience, Oreo eventually regained his ability to walk and move around. Without the efforts of his kind rescuers, Oreo would have perished on the streets and never would have walked again.
