This beautiful mother is a three-year-old dog named Carly. She was discovered by Paul Skinner, a cyclist riding along a road in Midville, Lincolnshire.
Paul noticed Carly with her head resting on a bag. As he approached, he saw that her eyes were filled with sadness; she was mourning her puppies. Carly knew that the bag contained the lifeless bodies of her offspring.
Paul will forever remember the heart-wrenching scene; Carly refused to leave her four children.
Paul immediately contacted the authorities to ensure that Carly and her puppies would receive proper care and be moved to a safe location.
Skinner, a 58-year-old Boston councilor, reported the incident to the police and the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA). He couldn’t believe such a cruel act.
RSPCA personnel arrived to rescue Carly and attempted to revive the puppies, hoping for a reaction. Sometimes, seemingly lifeless puppies can be revived and saved. Unfortunately, in this case, nothing could be done; they were already dead.
The veterinarian who examined them believed that the puppies were born alive on the day they were found and may have perished due to the cold. This implies that they were left there alive with the worst of intentions.

The mother is recovering from this traumatic experience and is in good health.
