Last week, in Can Tho, Vietnam, one of our dedicated rescuers named Lien made a surprising discovery on her way back from the supermarket. She came across a moving bag and, suspecting there might be an animal inside, decided to investigate. To her heartbreak, she found a tiny puppy abandoned in the bag.
Lien didn’t hesitate and took the puppy, whom she affectionately named Bun, with her. However, it didn’t take long to notice that Bun had a noticeable injury on one of her hind legs. The very next day, they took her to a veterinarian for proper treatment.
Despite the obstacles and challenges, Bun displayed remarkable bravery and resilience during her treatment. With the dedicated support of our rescuers and the expertise of the vet, she slowly but surely recovered from her injury.
Thanks to the compassionate actions of Lien and our team, Bun has been granted a second lease on life. She now thrives in her new forever home, where she is cherished and showered with love. This heartwarming story is a powerful reminder of the significance of animal welfare and the incredible impact of kindness and compassion toward all living creatures.
