Two pit bulls, Jukebox and Agatha, arrived separately at the Pima Animal Care Center in Tucson, Arizona, and developed an inseparable bond at the shelter. Although living at the shelter was stressful for them, they found comfort in each other’s company.
Jukebox, the lovely stray, was the first to arrive at the shelter. About a month later, sweet Agatha was brought in after her owners had to give her up.
The two pups crossed paths in a playgroup at the shelter, and it became evident right away that they were meant to be together.
Their connection deepened rapidly, and once they had found each other, adapting to shelter life became significantly easier. Shelter life can be quite stressful for some dogs, and both Jukebox and Agatha were struggling with anxiety.
The shelter staff recognized their bond and understood that separating them was not an option. However, finding a family willing to adopt both of them proved challenging, partly due to their breed and their strong bond. The shelter featured their story on Facebook, and the post went viral, with numerous people sharing it.
Eventually, Erin and Ubaldo came across the post and decided to adopt the duo. Jukebox and Agatha have now settled into their new home, bringing love and joy to their new family. They will never have to experience fear or loneliness again and will embark on many more adventures together.
Their new parents, Erin and Ubaldo, adore their new furry family members and are impressed by the pups’ sweet and gentle personalities.
Both Agatha and Jukebox quickly adjusted to their new home and have continued to bring love and happiness to each other and their new family ever since. They will never have to be fearful or lonely again and will enjoy many more shared adventures.
